Marina Granovskaia has been seen back at Chelsea twice in the last month – although not as a guest of club owners Clearlake Capital on either occasion, Matt Law reports in the Daily Telegraph today.
Granovskaia was at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night for the Chelsea legends’ charity game against Bayern Munich – where there were plenty of familiar faces in attendance both on the pitch and off it, and plenty of chances for her to catch up with old colleagues.
She is understood to have been there as the guest of friends who were in attendance.
There was some expectation that the former Chelsea director would stay on when the new ownership took over from Roman Abramovich, at least on a temporary basis but her long standing ties to the previous regime made that impossible in the end.
There doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between the old regime and the new, and we may see plenty more of er at games in the future.
