Chelsea have made a €30m offer for Michael Olise, a report by RMC Sport claims today.
The young Crystal Palace star is still in rehab after picking up a bad hamstring tear while playing with France’s U21 team this summer, but that clearly hasn’t deterred Chelsea, who are keen to add him to their roster of young attacking talents.
Chelsea are said to be waiting for further developments on his injury, although of course there’s less than a month left in this window.
There’s mention of a release clause “below €40m,” which would certainly make him an interesting target for a lot of teams. Still just 21, Olise has 6 goals and 21 assists with the Eagles, and is looking ready to step up to a top team where his impressive creative talents can be even better put to use.
There’s also mention of Man City interest in Olise following the departure of Riyad Mahrez to Saudi Arabia.
