The Premier League have just announced the kit matchups for this weekend’s fixtures, and Chelsea are going to be wearing their home strip one again.
There had been some rumours that the new away strip would be launched for our away game at the London Stadium against West Ham tomorrow, but in the end it looks like they’re played it safe and kept us in our snazzy new sponsor-less royal Blue home number, rather than risking a clash with the Hammers’ Claret and lighter Blue.

That means we will likely have to wait another month weeks before we see the away kit in action. We play Luton and Nottingham Forest in our next two home games, sandwiched around a home EFL Cup game against Wimbledon.
We might finally get to see the away strip on the 17th of September, when we play Bournemouth away. Who knows – at that point we may even have a sponsor on it! Imagine that…
