All the talk around Chelsea right now is the abysmal results and poor performances on display right now, and the pressure is ramping up on Graham Potter as a result.
It’s a situation that has taken away any of the excitement for Blues fans after an unreal January transfer window with a number of quality high profile new signings at the club as part of a big squad rebuild.
One of those arrivals was Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid, and he has arguably been their best new signing so far. But Chelsea do not have an option to buy him in the summer, so his future is far from clear. Other clubs have also been lining up as interested suitors to buy him in the summer, but his focus is only on Chelsea according to Fabrizio Romano writing in his exclusive Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside.
“Chelsea are happy with Joao Felix, he’s happy with Chelsea but it’s February. It’s only been 3-4 games, so any decision will be made on both player and club side between April and May, not now,” Romano said.
“He just wants to play and focus on football now, full focus is on Chelsea and not on other clubs.”
