Arsenal youngster Joe Willock has been absolutely sensational since moving on loan to Newcastle United back in January.
The 21-year-old has just scored yet again this afternoon, putting Newcastle 1-0 up away to Fulham on the final day of the Premier League season.
That means Willock now has seven league goals this season, all of which have come in his time on loan at St James’ Park.
That’s hugely impressive from the young Gunners midfielder, not least because it means he’s actually scored more Premier League strikes than expensive Chelsea summer signing Timo Werner…

“I slept with him more times than with my own wife. I’ve done everything with Ronaldo. With and without limits” – which footballing legend made this shock revelation? Click here to find out.
Of course, Werner may well score for Chelsea before this afternoon is done, but it just shows what a poor season the Germany international has had.
Willock isn’t even a striker, and isn’t playing for as good a team as Chelsea, but has very quickly scored more goals than Werner, who cost Chelsea as much as £54million last summer, as per BBC Sport‘s report at the time.
Arsenal fans will now just have to hope Willock can return to the Emirates Stadium and make an impact in Mikel Arteta’s side after this hugely impressive loan spell.
